Not receiving club emails?

If you are not receiving emails from the club regularly, eg Pennant every month, it may be because your email provider or the app you use for emails is rejecting them.
This is not uncommon as email providers seek to reduce spam and sometimes mistakenly mark our regular emails as such.
You should be checking your 'spam' or 'junk' folder regularly to make sure there are no emails in there that you do want to see.
Usually this resolves itself quite quickly with no action required, but sometimes your own email account will continue to reject emails from us, or perhaps you may have inadvertantly marked one of our emails as spam.

If this happens, there is nothing we can do from the club. You will have to tell your email account that it is safe to receive our emails.
You can do this by adding our club email address to a 'white list', or 'safe senders list' in your own email account, and making sure that it is not in your 'black list' or 'blocked senders' list

Click on the link to the 'Whitelist Guide' to find out how to do this for your email provider.
There are two addresses that you should add to your white / safe senders list : (Include the asterisk at the start of the addresses)

*@marchwoodyc.org.uk
*@scm.marchwoodyc.org.uk
And make sure that nothing similar is in your black / blocked senders list.

Alternatively, If you use gmail or another system that filters or organises your emails it is possible that emails from the club have been mis-identified as marketing emails. Please check all your folders and change your settings to ensure club emails arrive in your inbox.
