Commodore's Update - April 14

Hello All,

As we enter our 4th week of lockdown and temporary closure of MYC, I can assure you all that the club seems to be a secure site, thanks to the team that are doing several checks on the club and boats each day.

At present,we are still on lockdown and I understand that an announcement will be made by the government by Thursday this week regarding the lockdown. I think it's very unlikely that the lockdown will be lifted and we will have to continue as we are for a few weeks longer. Thank you for your patience at this very frustrating time.

The general committee are still having video meetings on a weekly basis because of the continuing changes put in place by the government, and I will continue to keep you all updated.

By the time this is all over, we will all have immaculate gardens, perhaps we should have a garden photo competition.
