Commodore's Update - May 5

Hi all,

I trust you are all well.

We are continuing with our security measures in place which are working well, however, someone has tried, unsuccessfully, to break into the wheelhouse on the club launch,of which the police were informed.

Some of you will have seen, the photos of MYC and the boats on Facebook,if you're boat is in the photos, you can see that all is well. To me, it seems very strange to see the yard so full of boats at this time of year.

This comming Sunday, the government have indicated that the planned release of the lockdown could be announced. I sincerely hope that the release does affect the ability for members to start working on their boats, but we will have to wait and see how Sunday goes.

As soon as we are told that we are able to open the club, I will put out a message to all members staiting that, but sadly until this happens, I am unable to send out that message, the club must remain CLOSED.
