Commodore's Update 2nd February 2021

Hello all,

With the AGM less than four weeks away, we find ourselves with a few vacancies on the general committee, these are as follows.

Rear Commodore House.

Rear Commodore Sailing.

Hon Secretary.

General Committee Member.

If any of you feel that you are in a position to fill one of these roles, please don't hesitate to contact any of the general committee. This is an ideal opportunity to learn more about how your club is run and how you can have some input into the running of MYC.

In order to successfully conduct an AGM, we intend to hold a few practice runs which all the membership are invited to to participate in. Please try to get involved in the trial AGMs as this will help us to iron out any creases. More details will be announced later in the week.

The results of the Barge poll, along with a response from the committee, have now been published on the website. Logon and look at the Members section.

Security is still ongoing and going well. A few covers have had to be secured after the strong winds and the owners have been informed.
