Lymington Double Rally
Lymington Double 19/20th September
Lymington Harbour remains a firm favourite and as the name suggests provides those choosing to race with an opportunity to race there and back, and be in with a chance to win the coveted - John Fisher Memorial Trophy. As we were unable to book the venue on a weekend with favourable tides, it will be necessary to have an early start for the outward leg, probably around 07.30 (however, we will confirm this and the courses via the Whatsapp group that we will set up a couple of weeks prior to the event).
There is plenty to do in the town (there is a market in the high street) or take a stroll into the nearby marshes with panoramic views across the Western Solent.
Saturday night will probably be spent in the Mayflower PH (to be confirmed) which is a short walk from the Dan Bran Pontoon where we have been allocated space for 20 boats. Shoreside facilities can be found within the changing rooms of the Lymington Town Sailing Club.
Attendance to be booked on the MYC website with berthing fees paid in advance directly to the Harbour Office.
