Abandoned Paint Tins

Published 13:41 on 11 Jun 2025

A plea to all members

The boat yard is slowly being inundated with abandoned paint tins from members. The club is not responsible for removing member's rubbish. (Including pieces of wood) even if they are left in the caravan area.

Please take your empty of half empty paint tins away (the recycling centre will allow 5 Litres per month), empty or hardened paint can be disposed of there also.

DO NOT PLACE IN CLUB WHEELY BINS (the yard is covered by CCTV)

The current amount of tins in the yard will cost the club in excess of £1000 to dispose of and ultimately this may be passed onto members in way of increased fees

If you are going to the recycling centre please "Take a tin" (or a few) and dispose of to help reduce the amount lying around the caravan area

Regards MYC Boat Park Team
