Cadets Management Team Member
We are looking for someone to join the Cadet Management Team. We hopefully have a new Cadets Manager joining and this role would be to help share the running of Cadets at MYC.
Cadets run on a Tuesday evening every other week (January-March), then weekly from Easter to June. The role sits under the Sailing Secretary and has a great team of active volunteers.
No prior experience in running or being part of a sailing group is required. However, any experience working with young people would be beneficial. Strong organisational and communication skills would be helpful. Contact Rachal Willett cadets@marchwoodyc.org.uk
Bar Opportunities
Bar Stockists
Be Part of the bar team and support the bar servers by bottling up and restocking the shelves before and during large events and our busier shifts. This role does not involve heavy lifting and typically takes between 1 - 2 hours to complete.
Shifts are available Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays.
Ideal for those who want to assist the bar team but do not have the confidence to serve behind the bar. We have no work fairies at MYC and every role is important.
Cellar Operatives
We always need strong, willing and able volunteers to jump in now and again with the heavy lifting. Please drop me a line if you're happy to be called on occasionally to assist with moving, kegs, crates and beer casks and we will happily train you in cellar management and stock control.

Race Officers needed for MYC Racing
We are looking for fresh faces to join our Race Management Team. Whether you are a seasoned racer or a cruiser looking to learn more, becoming a Race Officer (RO) is one of the most rewarding and interesting ways to get involved and counts for your Personal Service.
It's a stimulating role which involves weather, tide, shipping movements, radio, Whatsapp etc. It's straightforward to do and you don't have to be an expert in any particular area. You take the level in which you want to get involved and we have great folk who will help in the learning.

Liberty Boat Drivers needed
Training given. Drive members to and from their boats. We are looking for one duty every 6-8 weeks.

Lime Pointing Team Operatives
If you have previous experience in building or maintenance, plastering or bricklaying. Come and join our existing team who repair and look after our walls surrounding the club and the club buildings.
